Crash importing ALE from Colorfront into Clips bin

We got an ALE from a DIT using Colorfront. When I import the ALE using the “Import color from ALE/EDL/CDL” menu it imports the ALE fine. It shows me a list of CDL values I can import.

However, I clicked the Import button, selected “ALE” menu. Then I chose the ALE from Colorfront. Cortex crashed. I was trying to import an ALE and merge the CDL values from the ALE into existing clips. (The clips were already imported into the project/day.)

This is with version 1.5.3 b5260.

Here’s the log (trimmed to just the error parts):

I’ll send you the full log and the original ALE to test. I’m sure it’s something silly like the bug with importing Resolve ALEs. At the very least, can you add an exception handler when importing ALEs so that Cortex does not crash on a malformed ALE?

Yep. Should be an easy fix. As a temporary workaround, you can rename the column Filepath to ImageFileName or UNC.

This is fixed in v1.5.3 b5300.
