I need the scene numbers on the slate the problem is my production uses letters after the scenes for cutaways. Example scene 42 can have scene 42A,42B,42C, VX42, etc. There are some many sub-scenes that the text is off the screen and other scenes are not listed. Is there a way to just list scene 42 in the example either automatically or manually?
At this time I can’t think of a good way to do what you want.
We do collapse scene names the way you describe when outputting PDF reports, so we can look into using that logic in slates as well.
