We’ve had periodic requests over the years to address what happens when you have duplicated frames due to a pull down pattern or in animation. Because the frames are duplicated, it will cause NOVA to interpret a lot of the defects as “intended to be there” (since they are found on at least one surrounding frame). In particular, this makes AutoFilter much less effective.
We’d love to hear any further input from folks who encounter this - how often, what types of footage, what do you do to handle it in other tools?
