Confused. Tried rendering out dailies as DNX36 with wave audio…Cortex appeared to generated a polywave to go with DNX36 picture dailies, yet Avid cannot read the polywave files generated…it wants mono wave files…
Is this an option? Or simply an ancient workflow no longer supported?

We do have a broadcast wave deliverable type that would allow you to export monophonic wave files. If you choose to render out DNx 36 with wave audio, we only export polyphonic wave files. We could add an option to choose one or the other, but this is the first time it came up. If you are using this in an Avid, you would normally just use the MXF audio.
