Media won't import from paths with folders with spaces at the end of the name

We have seen issues when folders are named with a space at the end of the name, like "media " instead of “media”. Usually this can only happen when the folder was created on another OS and is being stored on a SAN.

Occasionally, shuttle drives from Mac OS systems have folders on them with spaces at the end of the folder name. This causes strange errors to occurs on CORTEX where the media doesn’t actually import. And its very hard to tell because spaces are invisible.

If you are unable to import media, try moving the media to a new path.
