When rendering the avid dnx material out, the slate event is absent even though cortex says it’s complete. If you try and re-render Cortex and says it fails and continues to try without success. All the while it is creating a large number of slate events that seem to be complete in the render folder.
I cannot reproduce this with the current 1.5.3 build. Could you send along some logs when you have a chance?
I was actually misinformed as to the details of this issue. It seems the clip renders out but sometimes when merging in the avid it acts as if the clip does not exist.
That would likely indicate an issue with the timecode, duration or tapename of the clip. If you see that happen again, import the clip directly in the Avid and let us know what’s not matching.
