When I try to merge my ALE with the media in my avid, it doesn’t recognize my wild tracks. It will merge all other clips except for those tracks. To quick fix it tonight, I just manually entered in the clip name, scene, etc. Why does this happen? Is there any way we can get this to merge just like the other clips? Thank you.
I have tried reproducing this issue with both Source Timecode and Continuous Timecode reels, but they both merge fine with the Wild Track in media composer.
Usually things fail to merge if any of the following do not match between the ALE and the clip in the bin:
- Start
- End
- Tape
Can you check if any of those are different?
