Is there an easy way to know the sound offset from the camera timecode? In control dailies there was a window and that offset could be used on other clips. I’m not talking about a few frames but completely unmatched code.
The offset is shown in the magnify window on the Sync tool tab:
In this case, the offset determined when the clip was sync’d is 16 seconds, 19.89 frames.
When you go to the next clips and hit the Auto Sync button \, it will try to sync the new clip with that offset.
If you want to sync with 0 offset, you can use Shift + \.
