Counters in Head Slate cause renders to fail

If you add Counters (Picture TC, Audio TC, etc) to a Head Slate, the slate will fail to render. For a file-per-reel deliverable, such as a DVD or File-Per-Real H.264, this will cause the entire deliverable to fail.

For now, we will leave the bug open, pending community input on the usefulness of having this feature.
You can work around it by not using counters in your slates.

And just to be crystal clear, this is only a bug when adding those burns to Head Slates or other head formatting events.

It’s not a problem when adding these burns to your clips via the Burns / Overlay graphics templates.
