DNxHR media output?

In December, Avid released info regarding a new video codec for 2K, 4K and UHD video resolutions. This new video codec is dubbed “DNxHR”. Additionally, they updated their Media Composer software to support this codec so editors can edit natively in these higher resolutions.

So the question is: how soon until Cortex will support DNxHR outputs?

Cortex currently cannot output DNxHR media. I have an email into Avid to see when the next version of the toolkit we use will be released.

We should have support for this in our next version.
